What’s Choralplayer’s copyright and license policy?
Choraplayer’s copyright and license policy is embedded inside Choralplayer’s software code. You can display it using the “view source code” function available on most browsers.
For your convenience, the copyright statement and the license policy available in the software code are shown hereafter:
Choralplayer is copyrighted software. Use is permitted under license. From this perspective, any user acts as a Licensee. The Licensee can use Choralplayer provided that any ads activated by the player are displayed to the Licensee. The Licensee is not allowed to use Choralplayer if anything prevents that ads are displayed to the Licensee. The Licensee is not allowed to use Choralplayer on other websites and, especially, to remove the ads that Choralplayer displays. Any revenues originated by displaying the ads remunerate the author of Choralplayer for providing the license to the Licensee. They do not remunerate the author of Choralplayer for anything related to the music played.
Please note that, if Choralplayer is used to play copyrighted music, the user is responsible to pay the copyright fee for the music played, when due. Choralplayer is just a player: fulfilling the copyright and license conditions of Choralplayer does not imply that the copyright and license conditions relevant to the music played are also fulfilled. It’s up to the user to ensure that the copyright and license conditions of the music played are fulfilled.
